His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz President of SCTA, has announced that, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdul Aziz (May God Protect Him) has given his approval for the formation of an integrated and leading supreme committee to take care, develop and preserve the antiquities and intangible heritage of the Kingdom. HRH President of SCTA has further announced the consent of the Custodian for holding an exhibition on Saudi recovered heritage during the events of Al Jenadriyah Heritage and Cultural Festival.
HRH President of SCTA had announced Custodian's approval during the meeting of the general assembly of the Society of Heritage Preservation. The meeting was held yesterday and chaired by HRH Princess Adlah bint Abdulla bin Abdul Aziz chair of the Saudi Society for Heritage Preservation. The meeting held in the General Lectures Hall, King Abdul Aziz Historic Center, Al Murab'a Quarter, Riyadh.
HRH Princess Adlah, during the meeting said that, the Kingdom is in the beginning of the civil eff0orts for preserving the national heritage." The road ahead is still long; it needs our united efforts and the efforts of the specialists and the people who believe in society's responsibility towards the preservation of our heritage and working honestly for bringing it to life through united efforts of relevant authorities, private and public sectors and community's different groups" added HRH.
Princess Adlah expressed her appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz President of SCTA for the technical and administrative support he provides to the society. Also she expressed her appreciation to Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud Charity Association for supporting the Saudi Society for Heritage Preservation.
